Consider the concepts you were introduced to in the Open Access, in addition the links above. Although you can see a dataset, your use of it may be limited by accessibility or copyright restrictions! Assess the openness of one the above resources (or one of your own!) in the following ways:
- Can you view datasets at no cost? Must you sign up to view the data?
- Is there a tool on the website for you to view or manipulate the data?
- Can you download the datasets from the repository?
- Are the licenses for the datasets clearly marked and visible? What licenses are on the datasets?
