I'm working to expand my knowledge of web techonolgies. I've spent a couple of years improving my Javascript, and I'm now comfortable with my ability to use it. Unfortunately, now I'm getting to the stage where I can build all sorts of interesting data plumbing, I find that I don't know enough about practical use of CSS to make it look useable.
Whilst I do know my way around the CSS definitions/Box Model etc, I haven't really had a chance to see how they're used in practice to produce different layouts and grids with proper cross-browser compatibility, and all the tutorials I find online just explain the box model to me over and over.
I'm hoping that by participating in this course, I'll learn a lot more about how web-developers use css to produce specific effects.

Standard Set Answer:
well, as i know css is all about presentation and design in web development and I love doing things related to designs and web development.
I think I know every basic thing about css, but i don't have that much practical knowledge with it. So by participating in it i hope i will be able to know much more about css advanced selectors and other things related to it.
exactly, I love to share things in which i'm perfect. So in this way i will help to others.
Public Set Answer:
Well, My current css background is nothing much more than an intermediate css developer. I'm quite familiar with css 2.1 but not much with css3 so thats why I'm participating in it.
Regarding CSS i've searched all over web i can't find the specific people those who teach the css practically. All i can found was only little bit of theory and some few examples. I want CSS to be offered in such a way that. Everyone can learn it very efficiently. Just like developing a project with css.
I want to learn CSS because Its all about presentation and presentation really makes the web facinating and attractive.

I started web in college 4 years ago and it's now my job because it's probably the most all round fun you can have with a computer.
I'd love to improve on my CSS skills as much as possible and also kick any bad habits I've picked up as most of it is self taught.
I have no problems helping out with the organization or any questions the participants might have.
Public Set Answer:
I started doing some basic CSS as part of a college project 4 years ago and now I am in charge of mulitple sites where I work but am still far from perfect with it.
A mix of the cutting edge new stuff maybe and also what is good practice, the technical bits on bloating etc
CSS is a fantastic, light weight method of achieving some pretty impressive stuff with web pages and you don't really have to worry about whether it's supported on a browser by default (mostly) and the more I know about it the less I need to use Javascript and other methods to achieve effects that CSS is capable of anyway.
