Participation, Engagement and Tentative Schedule
Here is some information that will help you understand what to expect from this Course:
My level of expertise in Scilab
I have more than 6 years of experience using and programming Scilab. I use it in my teaching. Some of my students have used i to develop programs for analysis, design and optimization of steel dome structures. I have not used some features of Scilab, such as, Xcos, wrting C/C++ functions for use in Scilab.
Facilitation level
I intend to help people participate, will answer questions and have contact sessions through Skype/Google Talk.
Modes of facilitation
I will follow a prepared study material in the form of short tutorials, that is available to participants as a PDF file. The schedule will clearly indiacte the sequence in which the study material will be followed. There will be a separate forum topic for each tutorial, where participants can comment, ask questions, answer questions from others. Contact through Skype/Google Talk is dependent on availability and time zone differences.
Tentative Schedule
- Each session of 1 hour
