Anyone can follow a course on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  What made you interested in this topic?

  • I learned how to make a website in high school and was a webmaster for a local business a year later. It was a really cool experience to see how words were translated into a visual creation.

  What do you hope to achieve by participating?

  • My jobs haven't required any more HTML knowledge than basic formatting tags, and I really want to bring my site-building skills back up to date. I've heard some more tech-savvy friends buzzing about the possibilities that HTML 5 will bring, and I want to understand what they're talking about!

  First things first, my name is Dillon Jordan and I am enrolled at EOC Tech for Web Design. This is my 3rd year in the class and I've learned almost everything there is to know about in creating websites. I would rate myself as average for I am still learning. I enjoy the class and the people in it, but this may be my last year. If so I will still learn more about web design and all the tips and tricks that follow it throughout the years. I want to go to UCO and get a degree in business & marketing or maybe one in web design. Im not to sure yet which would be the best way to go. I hope to figure it out soon though.

  I am familiar with creating websites but as HTML has advanced, things have changed.

  Stefanie Panke is Instructional Analyst at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. In her current position, she supports the faculty at the School of Government in pedagogical and technological issues of online learning and teaching. Prior to her current position, Stefanie was Director of E-Learning at Ulm University, Germany, where she implemented various e-learning projects and initiatives. She teaches classes for the Department of Education and Psychology at Ulm University, and conducts application-oriented research projects on social media and open educational resources. Stefanie holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Bielefeld. In 2009, she completed her thesis on the information design of educational websites.

  I'm an Electronics Engineer from Argentina. I have basic formation in programming (c++, python, asm, processing, etc) and I'm interested in learning more.
