This course offers foundational instruction in HTML. Topics include tag structure, file encoding, web browsers, DOCTYPEs, common HTML elements, hyperlinks, images, video, tables, forms, and sections.
Additionally, we will touch base on CSS in order for students to transition to other Webcraft courses.

Anyone can follow a course on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. I have a pretty solid foundation in HTML4 and CSS2, but know almost nothing about HTML5 and CSS3. I am hoping that by participating in this course, and the CSS3 course, that I can gain a solid understanding of both.
