Compile web-resources for language learning [Sept. 27, 2011, 6:20 a.m.]
The internet has a wide variety of resources that can be used to elicit language data from Shiyeyi speakers. These include websites such as the following:
- Language resource site list compiled by the Center for Applied Linguistics
- Field Manuals from Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics
- Gray's Anatomy illustrations for anatomy term elicitation
- Images for getting terms for scope, quantity, etc. compiled by Benjamin Bruening for the Scope Fieldwork Project
- Questionnaires that can be used as guidelines for descibing the different language structures in Shiyeyi
There are also sites that have direct information on Shiyeyi itself, such as:
- Yeyi numbers (in phonetic notation) by Eugene Chan at the Max Planck Institute
