      • For them, us, whoever and I to write about that process.
    2. The creation of web craft oriented tutorials and how to docs.
    3. My exo brain and I fumbling to squeeze some output from this sponge that is my ?meta brain.?

Hi, I just signed up for this challenge. The topics I came up with are:

    • Healthy diet and fitness
    • DIY (do-it-yourself) electronics projects
    • Programming
    • Web Design
    • Hedgehogs

I decided to go with hedgehogs because I don't know much about them and I've been wanting to do research and learn about them (thinking about getting one).

    I created a blog at wordpress.com: hedgehognotes.wordpress.com

I just created the blog and haven't made any posts or even changed the theme yet.

Wow! You created a blog! I could not be more surprised than if you decided to start farming in South Africa. What excellent news! I just got back from meeting and will visit it as soon as I can. I spent most of the day writing a few new posts this afternoon which I haven't posted yet. Wonderful time. The only form of meditation which ever worked for me was writing. More later, chica. EDIT: I opned up this blog for P2PU assignments.

    ***

I like to read and tell stories so when I first started a blog (it was 2008 and I chose Blogger as a platform) I thought I wished it to be a space to host what I write and what I read and share it with others.
I've actually come a long way since then and I ended up having 5 or 6 blogs on different platforms.
The other two platforms I've registered with are Wordpress.com and Tumblr.
I use Tumblr to reblog pictures from other bloggers. I like visual arts but I can't draw myself.
I guess it's a way to express my love and admiration for those who can draw and do it beautifully.
On Wordpress.com I have two blogs, one for reblogs from blogs I follow and one that is kind of a diary.
Anyway, my main blog is on Blogger and its main purpose is to share my writings.
This is the list of ideas I drafted back in 2011 when I did a restyling and a tidy up of my main blog (My web diary on Blogger).

    • short stories for my short writings;
    • nugae which is the latin word for trifle (I took from Italian author Petrarca) for creative writing exercises;
    • thoughts for my thoughts on creative writing and other matters.

    My blog url is http://janelleheideman412.wordpress.com/

This will mostly be about personal topics, such as relationships (friendships, family, romantic), changes in my life and how I am adapting to them. I am thinking of starting at least one, maybe two more. one would concern education, elearning, instructional design, and similar topics. This is my profession and a major interest of mine. Another site might be devoted to my writing. I don't get the chance to write creatively as often as I would like, but when I do I could have a blog to post my writings to.

    My interests/passions include:

    • reading (fiction/nonfiction, almost all genres)
    • writing
    • advocating for LGBT rights (especially the "T" in LGBT)
    • working to build stronger relationships within the communities of which I am a part
    • building stronger relationships with my friends, family, boyfriend, acquaintances, etc.
    • politics
    • travel
    • teaching and learning of all kinds--I try to learn something new every day and love the feeling I get when I learn something new or have helped turn a lightbulb on over someone else's head.

Looking at what I've written so far, I hope I haven't run too long. I also think my response is in reverse order from the question, but hopefully you will all be able to understand what I am saying.

I have split my passions into professionally focused and a personally focused blogs at

    http://valarywithawhy.tumblr.com - professional

    http://nolagrrlnyc.tumblr.com - personal

The professional one focuses on communication, presenting, e-learning and all things that go into how we learn and communicate in this digital age while the personal one is a place for me to experiment with my photography and share wonderful things to do in my hometowns (NOLA and NYC) as well as some personal stories.

Not too long ago, I created a blog at: http://theasayfamily.blogspot.com/. My purpose is mainly to tell the story of how my husband and I met, and to tell of the adventures of our now 1-year-old son (mostly for the benefit of our family, who live far away). I have not updated it in some time, but I hope to very soon. I would like to do an extensive post detailing my son's first birthday party, and what he is up to these days/how he has grown over the past year. The end.

I signed up today and these are the things that I am passionate about:

    1. Interesting photography - I have a passion for photographs that take a different perspective of normal everyday things. I especially enjoy take photographs of natural objects i.e. trees, plants, leaves etc.
    2. I have a passion for words. For this reason, I appreciate lyrics to songs more than I do the music, modern poetry that is expressive always touches something deep inside, and when thoughts and feeling are expressed in unique ways - it blows me away.
    3. Human relationships are something that I am always interested in. Human interaction is so interesting because while it evolves and changes with time, it still has many standard and deep rooted aspects that lurk just beneath the surface.
    4. Emotional Intelligence is a skill that I am constantly trying to develop. I was initially exposed to the concept when I was teaching primary school about four years ago. I have subsequently written and developed a training manual, for adult education exploring practical applications of emotional intelligence in the workplace.
    5. Without a doubt, my family is important and they are incredible. My mother, especially, has taken to instant messaging like a duck to water and that totally fascinates me.
    6. I love cinema. My favourite genres are science fiction, horror (not torture stuff though), really incredibly deep human dramas and comedy. Recently I acted in a movie called Flush which is flighting on DSTV at the moment … always cool to see myself on the small screen. Hope I get to do more in the future
    7. Healthy eating is something that my partner and I are always striving to achieve.
    8. The blood type diet is an eating plan that we’ve been following for close to ten years now. Currently, we are exploring how to revitalise our application of the diet because we’ve sort of stalled somewhat (maybe holiday, maybe stress, maybe laziness).
    9. Customer service is something that I take very seriously because in South Africa, there is often a misalignment of the ideals and the execution of customer service. I think that most South Africans accept poor customer service because fighting it takes a lot of time and energy.
    10. Gay Issues. I think in era in which we are in, human rights are critically important and should always remain at the forefront of all our thoughts, actions and decisions.
