Early drafts of the course

This course was created by the OER Research Hub research team (Bea de los Arcos, Rob Farrow and Beck Pitt) with guidance and contributions from Martin Weller and early draft contributions for week three from Simone Arthur. We revisited the course post-first iteration (September-October 2014) during Summer 2015 and made a number of changes in light of our own experiences of running the course and participant feedback. You can find out more about the changes made to the second iteration here.

The OER Research Hub would like to thank Jane Park at Creative Commons for her invaluable feedback and support during the creation of this course. Special thanks also to Billy Meinke, Christina Hendricks and Joe Corneli for providing feedback on the course and to Vanessa Gennarelli, Phillip Schmidt, the P2PU Community and ROER4D. We would also like to thank all those who participated in the first iteration of the course in September-October 2014. By sharing your experiences and ideas you have strengthened the course and we hope it will be beneficial to others.

Thanks to all those who participated in the audio and video interviews used in the course: Tita Beaven, Cheryl Hodgkinson-Williams, Patrick McAndrew, Chris Pegler, Leigh-Anne Perryman and Martin Weller.

Finally, many thanks to our funders, the Hewlett Foundation, for their support.
