Introduce Yourself + Recruit Others [Oct. 14, 2011, 11:42 a.m.]
We'd like it if you could share a few things about yourself before we get started to make the most of our kickoff:
1) What's your background and how has that led you to this moment? We don't need your whole CV; we just want to know what makes you you, right now.
2) What brings you to this group? Are you just getting interested in design thinking or are you waiting for Nature to review your paper?
3) Do you have an specific goals in mind for this Citizen Circle?
4) What kind of Citizen Circle do you think this should ideally be? An overview of the field? A deep dive into a particular skill (e.g. prototyping)? A studio for sharing your own research or project work with like-minded peers? Something else?
As the kickoff approaches, talk to your friends! Please publicize this Citizen Circle to others in your network who you think may want to join or have something to conrtibute. We will treat the first meeting as an open meeting with no hard requirment to join the Citizen Circle after it starts.
Attendees are welcome to come out of sheer curiosity alone or willingness to help us design an awesome plan. So come-one-come-all.
