Anyone can follow a course on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  Bio:

  I am in my last semester at the University of Illinois. I chose finance as my major mostly for opportunistic and practical reasons. With my academic career nearing an end, I am eager to further my knowledge in technology and develop the proper skill sets to guide me in my professional life. 

  I have three older brothers who I cherish and now fully appreciate their influence on my life. My hobbies include travel, racquet sports, football, disc golf, cooking, ebay, singing, and beer.

  I was refferred to p2pu by a close friend who has experienced the merits behind the website and its wealth of free knowledge. I have become increasingly interested and fascinated by the growth of technology since the birth of the internet which has defined my generation. My goal is to understand the nature of the world wide web and harness that knowledge to better myself and those around me. HTML 5 is the next wave of innovation and will change the internet by providing a more audible voice for the people and significantly reduce the barriers to fully utilizing the web.

  I hope acheive a fundamental unerstanding of website creation and help others who share this interest and have an appetite for learning. In the end I would like to put my skills to work in my quest for opportunity and entrepreneurship once I have graduated.

  I am a freelance web developer with a wide variety of interests. Computers are pretty much the center of my life. I love programming them and making them do cool new things.

  I joined P2PU because I think education is important, but my experiences in academia left me dissatisfied. I like the idea of creating educational opportunities that I might have enjoyed participating in.

  i immediately got interested in this topic if programming applications because i just recently bought a blackberry playbook.  it was only a number of minutes when i realized that it lacks many of the applications that are available on other platforms.  i decided that i should learn how to make applications so that i can better the blackberry marketplace.  at the same time i should be able to use the skills i gain to create websites for my future company.

  i hope to accomplish efficiency in programming applications and building websites. both ways i can help improve the quality of material available on the web and in the upcoming technology.

  if i gain a level of understanding that allows me to turn around and educate others, i would definitely help in study group organizations.  i love mozilla for their open source beliefs.  it pushes the boundaries of development to accomplish amazing heights.
