I'm a young man from Madrid. I am a full-time non-payed musician and a part-time half-payed web designer. I stomped into the profession and would like to learn more on the fundamentals of the web.

I've worked on web-design for a year or so. I stumbled into the possibility of working on it and have started on my own, but i'd really like to learn in an organized way.
I'm hoping to learn more on HTML5, get a more general knowledge on the basics on the language and end up using it on all of my projects, on a daily basis.
If i someday get the required knowledge, of course i would be.

i hope to get some basic/intermediate techniques using html5 as well as some confidence in coding web pages.

I'm currently studying web design but the courses I'm taking don't really focus on code. I want to learn how to code as well as design so I'm not relying solely on publishing tools like Dreamweaver.
What do you hope to achieve by participating?
I hope to gain at least a basic understanding of HTML5 and with that base knowledge I'll move to other languages such as CSS and Java.
