Anyone can follow a course on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  Im completely un-educated when it comes to IT, I've tried quite a few web design tools and managed to get about half way with installing JOOMLA, although I find it easy enough to manipulate JOOMLA site that are up and running.   I've posted a few websites and designed a few for friends using Microsoft Publisher but would rather become proficient at using an open source web design tool.   Would love to understand the basics of programming so as to be able to fix little errors etc on the WYSIWYG platforms.

  Any suggestions would be welcome.

  As to helping out; I'd love to but don't think I have the right skill set, yet.

  1. I currently work for a design firm in SF and want (and need) to learn new technologies to help advance my career. I've long had an interest in studying more web technologies and have now dedicated the next year to building some fundamentals.

   

  2. I hope to enjoy the process of online learning, picking up some solid HTML 5 basics, and ideally share my new knowledge with my colleagues who are also interested to learn.

   

  3. Yes! I have spent some time browsing the courses and am very impressed and curious about the wide ranging subjects available. I'd like to think more about what I could offer and when this course is up spend some time thinking more about how I can become involved and participate.
