Anyone can follow a course on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  We have been using HTML 4.0 for quite a while now, and since HTML 5 is slowly picking up pace and adding quite a lot of features in days to come so it would be nice to learn and upgrade my skill in HTML5 as it become more popular in coming days.

  Since its been organised as a P2P course which will let the participant share knowledge between the learner and the learning process will be quite fast.

  I will definately help with my time if required to the study group which will help in making this concept more popular in the coming years.

  I am a computer science engineer. I am intrested to know the latest trends in web devlopment.

  I want to use this knowledge to build better web mapping applications using google maps and Esri's Arcgis Api for javascript. I would also like to work on making accessible web maps which is my dream.

  Hello, my name is Austin and im 21 years old. I have a huge passion for web design (all facets of design really).

  Through working a full-time job and trying to juggle life I feel my design skills are slowly dwindling away. I want to learn all I can about web design and blogging so that I can one day start a business of my own.

  I have a couple websites that need to get more attention from me to really set them up right. Hoping to learn the art of blogging, which being a wannabe web designer really should be second nature. I have WordPress installed but no real content as yet.

  Other passions of mine are playing squash, thinking up business ideas, wishing i could make those ideas, creative writing and designing anything i can, a website, a logo, some wood work, a game (rpg or mmo) or just drawing.

  I am interested in learning HTML 5 as my first web-creating language because I admire its powerful integration with multimedia and ability to create a user-friendly, real-time interactivity and 2D animation.

  It has always been my dream to become an online celebrity. Not just one that makes funny video shorts or talk about my feelings; I wish to use the Internet to promote my videos, share both artistic and technologic ideas and news, and reach people all around the world.

  I have been working with web related technologies for some time now, both developing my own projects & doing a little freelance work for others (and for money). Keeping up with new developments and choosing what to attempt implementing is a constant challenge.
  
  In addition, being self taught, through articles and trial and error, I feel that structured learning/re-learning of basics and/or advanced material will help make me a better and more efficient developer.

  (2) Movements change people, and in my opinion, web designers/developers are a prestigious movement if only on their own accord. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then how many words are inside a beautifully designed website? Through design, I believe we can change people's perception and ultimately, find the ever elusive world peace.
