Anyone can follow a study group on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants.   I've been learning how to program for some time now. Began way back trying to learn C and stopped shortly after beginning. Years later I learned about Ruby and Python, but life got in the way and I stopped learning after about six months. For the past year I've been focused on Python and Javascript. It's been going well, but there's still much I need to understand.

  What made you interested in this topic?

  I'm interested in a website that runs with a python framework behind. Ideally, it would be bottle, but I'm interested in django too, as I need to understand how to work with python frameworks.

  What do you hope to achieve by participating?

  Understanding how to use django and be able to build a small django-powered website. Let's say, a blog.

  I'm not, since I currently have not so much time to invest in online activities and my knowledge on django is very limited for now. I might reconsider next year.
