The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  1. Not only is it cross platform, but it also is strong in it's ability to create a more rich experience for the user. PHP is widely adapted by many hosting companies and is also a very loosely typed language. It is a great alternative to Ruby On Rails or Perl etc as far as the learning curve. It also mingles nicely with HTML and creates a rich experience for data retrieving.

  I am an IT professional and system administrator seeking to diversify my skillset by developing competence and literacy in web and mobile application development as well as enable myself to pursue entreprenurial goals.  I currently work in local government and, well, we all know how that is going these days...

  In my spare time I enjoy listening to and making music, online gaming (primarily City of Heroes), and taking any available chance I can get to escape my cubicle into the great outdoors to hike, fish and shoot photographs.

  1.  PHP is in wide implementation all around the world and is the basis for a lot of important web platforms like Drupal.  It seems like a logical starting place to get involved in web development and learn more.

  I'm a University of Toronto Master of Information student currently working as an information architect and Drupal developer at the United Nations in New York. I want to do specific customizations using Drupal Views and would like to hone my PHP skills in order to do so.

  Well, last months I've been learning some languages (Java, C++, C), but to be honest web design and programming interest me so much, so I started reading about php some days ago, it seems to be a powerful language with tons of advantages.

  • What do you hope to achieve by participating?

   I would like to start using it, improve my coding and hopefully start developing for some web projects i have in mind. Also this helps like a common point between people with similar passions, so it is a terrific opportunity to learn and share.
