Anyone can follow a study/working group on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  I love being creative through web design, print design, and whereever creativity is elusive. My personal goal is to work for Mozilla Firefox in a design/creation capacity, or in a capacity to reach out to others and fund raising.

  Web programing is something I have wanted to learn for quite awhile but never had the opportunity to do so due to the cost of taking such classes.

  I hope to achieve an understanding of basic web programming from this class and hopefully, there will be a more detailed course in web programming on P2PU.

  Once I learn the info, I will help as much as I can. Perhaps even teach class here on P2Pu.

  Hi, this is Anupam.I would like to actively join this group as a learner of various programming languages.I am a complete novice,when it comes to programing.So,I think,by joining this group,I can learn a lot more about them.

   

  As a learner,I think  that we should start from C,its basics and various applications...as well as advanced applications as we go further.I think it would be easier for novices,like  us,to learn

   

  As an alternative,we can also focus on html.....the language to design web pages.we can start from the very basic of it and go further......as we learn the techniques of creating web pages.

  What made you interested in this topic?

  I've been struck by the fact that so many of the hacker and programmer projects I'm coming across lately seem to embody this totally unique altruistic desire to organize ordinary people to collaborate, get all creative-like, and solve problems.  I want to equip myself to be able to get on board!

  I'd definitely like to help out however I can, but I have a feeling my current level of (read: lack of) knowledge re all this stuff will limit my ability to do so.

  HI, 3 years ago I could not use email. I worked very hard all my life as a sheet metal worker in Cleveland, Ohio. I wish I could just learn the rest of my life, but we do have to work also. I love the depth that some of the P2PU courses can bring us to see, thanks!

  I'm a front-end web developer at an ad agency. I am a complete master of HTML/CSS, proficient with Javascript/jQuery & Git, and intermediate when it comes to PHP.

  Object-oriented Programming, MVC architecture, and PHP frameworks interest me, and I would love to learn more about PHP & MySQL--and then hopefully more languages :)

  As a humanities student, I have yet been able to engage in web-designing, programming, and technological studies. Although I have always been interested in learning how to design a website, I have been unable to find a source for learning about web-programming.

  By participating in this study group, I hope to gain basic knowledge of web-programming so as to help design websites for personal blogs and information access.

  I am a complete novice in web-programming. However, I wil be interested in participating in the study group organization to help with whatever it needs as long as it is within my abilities.

  Recently graduated with an MA in Media Studies and Media Management from The New School in New York City. My main field of interest is in film and video production. currently in the start-up phase of my own production company, House Independent Productions.
