Anyone can follow a study/working group on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  Bio:

  I am an active geographer (mostly GIS-centric) and a budding web dev. guy; hence, I reached out and found this very cool site. I am into the normal stuff: family, friends, food, fishing, frolic, and so on. But in regards to here, I hope to become a better geographer, citizen, and, well, you know....dude.

  I am interested in this topic because I am a n00bie to programming and have come tounderstand that Pyton is widely reported to be a fine beginner language.

  As my focus and interest is about web-mapping and information graphics on the web, I hope to learn enough about programming constructs, in general, to apply them in Python and perhaps elsewhere, as perhaps in PHP.

  As I see the idea of education, especially free, education, and most assuredly quality free education, I see it as a reponsibility of my person as a citizen to help where I can. Whatever I can do (as a n00bie...grunt work, perhaps ?), let me know....
