Wk 6-Reflecting [Sept. 20, 2011, 6:23 p.m.]
We've covered a lot of ground in this course.
The most important thing you can do now is to help spread the word about open educational resources.
Tell at least three people about OER, and post here about what you did. You can:
- Do a lesson on copyright and open content with your students (Here's an example of a lesson like this that you could adapt and use.)
- Blog, tweet, or otherwise broadcast what you've learned about OER.
- Do a presentation at a staff meeting, PD day, or conference. (Here are some materials you can adapt and use if you like.)
This is also a good time to finish any of the tasks you haven't completed from this course.
Reflect on this course and OER in your future. How will you use OER? What do you think the biggest benefts are?
What did you like most and least about this course? Write about what you learned, as well as how the format of the course worked for you, your thoughts on peer learning, etc.
What suggestions do you have to make this course better in the future? Would you be interested in facilitating a future round of this course or another course?
Finally, make sure to complete the course evaluation in the next task!
