Anyone can follow a study group on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  Hi,

  My name is lauren.  I've wanted to learn PHP for a while now, ever since I started dabbling in Drupal and messing around with civiCRM a while ago for a job.  I'm new to programming, and need a structured way to learn.  I don't know how much I have to offer the group, as my current php skillset is nill, but if I can help out in other ways - that don't involve having a lot of programming knowledge - I'd be glad to.

  I work very hard but do not always get proper recognition. I am intensely intelligent but naive about corporate life; the shattering of my optimistic illusions are frequent comic fodder around the office. I died while test piloting the company's prototype moon shuttle. A co-worker cloned my body, but because another co-worker put candy in my DNA jar, I am part Snickers bar. By random luck (which some were hoping for), my soul reincarnated into my new body. Luckily, my studies of Guided Reincarnation and Advanced Shapeshifting at IIT allowed me to assume my usual form.

  • PHP is something I am diving into. I have went from programming in HTML only to all PHP, I feel this is a topic that I can still learn from and possibly help others.
  • Knowledge is the seed to advancement. I believe a simple skill can be taught which in turn creates a domino effect and could eventually lead to something great. An olympic runner can't suceed without learning to walk.
  • I am interested in really finding what this site is about and if it is a great tool then I am willing to be as big a part of it as I can be.

  I do some affiliate marketing and would like to get into a startup so I am here to learn programming and code stuff.

  I'm very interested in learning to "tweak" wordpress sites as well as working with CSS.
