The materials in this group are designed to assist a home-based learner of Shiyeyi in learning to speak and/or read & write the Shiyeyi language. Shiyeyi is a language which is spoken primarily in Botswana and Namibia.
This is a facebook group that was started by Wayeyi in Botswana, which I joined in July 2011. Part of my learning path is synthesizing what I am learning and sharing these lessons in this forum.
Added the first installment of Manqehu (Shiyeyi proverbs) from the Shizha sha Wayeyi. I had noticed that people were requesting them on the wall, thought this would be the right moment to introduce them.
