Days which have been added or worked on today:
To date, I have typed up most of my language session notes from September 9, 12, 16, 19 and 21. This has included such topics as family, time of day, anatomy (using Gray's Anatomy pictures), cut and break terminology and a story from Shizha sha Wayeyi.
The cut and break terminology I gathered using the Field Manuals produced at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics. I showed the clips gathered by Jürgen Bohnemeyer, Melissa Bowennan and Penelope Brown, asking Bahiti and Keene to tell me what was happening in the clips: Shikya mati rasi? What is he/she doing? Not only did this provide me with some good variations in terminology, we had a good time watching the clips. They were particularly amused by the overzealous destroyer of carrots by various methods.
The illustrations from Gray's Anatomy were very helpful. I did some creative editing of a couple of them to make them less awkward for me before I showed them to Keene.
