The Cinematography Collective is a group of film/movie/television/photography enthusiasts undertaking regular short tasks on the art, craft and technique of the moving image.
The aim of the group is to create a community of cine enthusiasts who regularly work on short tasks (either alone or together) with a regular theme to respond to - sharing advice, knowledge, feedback and resources along the way. You can work on Film, Video DSLR, Broadcast and Consumer Cameras.
This course is being piloted between October and December 2012. The aim of the class is for participants to produce a showreel of their work at the end.
Anyone can follow a course on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Standard Set Answer:I'm a filmmaker myself and I hope to learn more and contribute too.
Depending on schedule I hope i'll be able to help as much as I can of course.
Although it's a very complex area, I can say I have been behind the camera since the age of 17, and I'm now nearly 34. I keep learning everyday obviously but i'm sure i can share some of my experience too.
