Fake News Story or Advert Task
The challenge here is to get people to believe something that is not true.
Using video, design, photography or by remixing a newspaper or website you could create one of the following:
- A fake news story
- A spoof based around a factual event taken to illogical extremes
- A fake advert for a product
- A fake event- recreate history
- Or anything else that you feel will help to spread an idea
If you are stuck have a think about past events, local, national or international. What would have happened if things were different?
How could you fabricate a story, to an alternative outcome, to re-create history. Could you stage a news broadcast, remix a newspaper or website, create a short documentary or short film about your event?
You should then see if you can get people to believe you
