Anyone can follow a course on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants.   because Html5 will form the new way we will produce content for the web,  the kind of content  that we were shy to make in the past years , what i mean is i can now play video without pulgins , i can  programme games in html5 , make web & mobile apps , i can draw , i have more semantics , and lets n't forget the APIs , it's ture that they are not  part of html5 but we can't just forget them because they work  together .

  I want to learn to design pages that support multimedia for education. Players pose a major obstacle for instructors and students, and I want to make the process as easy as possible for them. I know a bit of HTML and javascript, as well as a bit of PHP and CSS, but I am not programmer.

  I'd like to know how to create basic container pages for video content, at least, and maybe brush up on my CSS skills along the way.

  What made you interested in this topic?

  I've been a UI guy, for a while now. Got into UI first in the form of flash. I loved flash and still think something are better described in an animation language like flash. Have done some work with different JavaScript libraries, such as quoodo, jQuery and GWT.

  What do you hope to achieve by participating?

  Learn, HTML5. Be able to convert plane asp application and possible some of the ASP.Net applications to HTML5 frontended applications.

  Are you interested in helping with the study group organization?

  Yes. Although I dont fully understand what kind of help might be required.
