Standard Set Answer:I have been wanting to learn web development for a while now. I am finding it difficult to just use tutorials to learn as I feel I'm just copying what someone does without learning very much. I would like to be able to build and run my own websites if I ever have an idea for a site.
I think PHP is a pretty versatile language to learn as it seems to be widely used, Wordpress, Facebook, etc. and from what I've read and understood, it can do a lot.
