PHP, según entiendo es un código recomendado para aplicaciones Web, y requiero generar pequeños sistemas para reportar y capturar información en mi trabajo, lo creo conveniente realizar bajo una logica Web y no en planillas, que es lo mas común.
¿Qué espera lograr al participar?
Generar un conocimiento base que me permita seguir aprendiendo más, para desarrollar pequeñas aplicaciones Web.
¿Está interesado(a) en ayudar con la organización del course?
Si tengo interes en colaborar en todo lo que este a mi alcance.

It put the P in LAMP... and its widely used language on the web.

Years ago I started to become interested in building websites. I like a challenge. So I started learning HTML by myself, which a lot of people do. But I understood that HTML is not enough and that PHP is a must nowadays if you want to build powerful and complex websites.
Hopefully this course will give me the knowledge of what PHP is and how it works. I don't expect advanced knowledge, but a solid base on which I can build further.
If I'm any use to the organizers, I'm more than happy to help with the course.

At the moment I'm on stop with my education due to lack of money. I am qualified as a translator, but I'd love to requalify as a programmer. At least that's what I think right now. I want to learn as much about web design, and computer programming as possible, firstly to create a solid knowledge base for myself (I don't want to feel like I'm wasting time, when I could be learning new things), and secondly because I want to have a taste of everything and decide what I like and what I want to focus on.
PHP is one of the things I've always wanted to learn. I have an intermediate knowledge of HTML, but everywhere I turn there's PHP. I want to know how it works and why it's so important, and I want to be able to use it myself, and create proper websites.
