Standard Set Answer:I'm interested in this topic because I've just started a project with a friend of mine with Ruby on Rails and she's using these libraries. I hope to get a better handle on them so I can participate more fully in our project. I may be interested in helping with the study group organization once I understand what that entails, but for now I would just like to see how the school works.

I've been learning how to program for some time now. Began way back trying to learn C and stopped shortly after beginning. Years later I learned about Ruby and Python, but life got in the way and I stopped learning after about six months. For the past year I've been focused on Python and Javascript. It's been going well, but there's still much I need to understand.

Standard Set Answer:HAML and SASS topic very interesting for me because this is something new Technology in web development, as long as I know SASS is an extension of CSS3, adding nested rules, variables, mixins, selector inheritance. I'm using that but not often to implementation on my project. But how with HAML....? Well, honestly I'm never hear that or read in some articles, so i think i have any reason to knowing this.. :)
Meet great people with great idea, with spreading we can always sharing free knowledge. So I want study and reached my knowledge to spreading again. At least in my local community.

Standard Set Answer:- I taught myself basics of HTML back in... 2003? It's a bit rusty (I use Webmonkey all the time for the cheat sheets). I also taught myself CSS recently from an old book I bought at Half-Price Books. It was on the clearance shelf.
- I would like to clean up my HTML, refresh my knowledge, get a better grasp on CSS and maybe learn some new tricks.
- I would love to help with study group organization, I just don't know that I would feel confident enough to answer questions or lead the group.

My usage of HAML has been for a period of one week on one project, this is the area I'm hoping to practise lots on and see how others use HAML.

Standard Set Answer:I'm learning Rails. Diaspora uses Sass--my first two pull requests to them were in sass/css and I don't know sass, so I figured I should learn.
I hope to achieve prettier web apps by participating, and I hope to be able to teach other people what I know. I participate in a weekly in-person Rails study group, and we're working on a different open-source project together. Knowing sass would help greatly in making it prettier.
