I use self-created video for both my online and on ground classes - I also use video found on the web. I use iMovie, Powerpoint, Illustrator, Photoshop, and work from a MacBook Pro

I hope to learn how to more effectively present information visually to convey meaning.
Not at this time.
I am not currently an instructor, but rely heavily on graphics for presentations and visual display of data I manipulate on a daily basis.
I primarily create my own multimedia.
I prefer the Adobe suite, and rely heavily on Illustrator and Photoshop.

Standard Set Answer:Public Set Answer:Interested in education - working for a training company focused on providing adult self-directed learning. Want to expand our programmes and enhance the content we offer.
We use multimedia to some extent - especially video. We also use role-plays and discussions as an important part of experiential learning but theory remains an important part of what we need to convey - normally in a short space of time, to a diverse set of individuals. Mostly, use Powerpoint, GIMP (free image manipulation software), videos and video clips, images (photos and clipart).

Standard Set Answer:Public Set Answer:Online learning uses (or can/should use) various types of multimedia to help students learn. I am interested in how use of multimedia and graphics can help students learn in different and better ways.
Mutlimedia is rarely used in my classroom.
I use work created by others, but do not produce my own (though I do transform it into digital media).
I use windows streaming media, camtasia, and adobe creative suite (sparingly).

I've just moved outside the institution to look at some new directions in life. Being an early adopter Ive been at the edge for a while now so time to step outside... and see what comes...
Joining the P2pU community seemed a good way to engage with some innovative informal learning whilst 'working' across the globe with other educators.
