Standard Set Answer:
I have a few ideas I would love to realize, however always stumble at the technical hurdle. I do not come from a technical background, however more and more of my interests are beginning to require a greater understanding of programming.
Through this, I hope to both exchange tips on getting off the ground with Ruby on Rails, and also learn about the potential of online learning communities, something I'm personally interested in getting more involved with.
I can definitely chip in to help with organization should I be needed!

Standard Set Answer:
I am a journalist learning how to program. While many of my colleagues have choosing Django (and subsequently Python) for their work, I'm in love with Ruby and the tools it presents. Thus, I want to become better at Rails as I learn more about programming and the web.
I hope to understand more about Rails and its structure, as well as be able to start making some simple apps by the end.
I am willing to help with anything if you need and I can provide some time!
