I love being involved in exciting, passion-driven learning projects! I think that having a passion for what you do is one of the most important things in life.
My professional pursuits involve writing, K-12 education, ed tech, and open education. I am an advocate for OER and frequently present on this topic at conferences and other venues. I am the co-founder of the Kids Open Dictionary project. I have also been involved in running several ed tech businesses.
My personal pursuits include writing, cooking, organic farming, and carpentry. I live off the grid in a very remote part of the U.S. in a house built with my own hands.Location: AZ/NM border

By connecting with other teachers and classes across the globe, I hope to enhance my students' writing experiences by giving them authentic and engaged audiences.
