I Wanna Be a Machinima Star

“I Wanna be a Machinima Star”

We are doing a parody of a parody.
Based on the Tech Star video we are making “I Wanna Be a Machinima Star”

There are four different ways of participating if you are interested:

1) Send a 30 second video clip of your avatar or a group of avatars singing ( lips moving) to abacuscapalini@gmail.com or if you have dropbox account then share folder with abacuscapalini@gmail.com

2) Help us crowdsource rewriting of  the lyrics at http://bit.ly/machinimastar, or rewrite your own version.

3) Do the Machinima MOOC with us as we learn more about Machinima and produce one or more versions of this video

4) Help us do the outreach that will (hopefully) propel this video viral at ISTE 2012 conference and beyond.

    yes there is....anyone i the MOOC is welcome to it.  DM me as I can't post it to P2P.  I will send the audio file to whoever wants to make use of it.

    OK so here is the song for the crowdsourced machinima.  you can send your 30 sec clip (editind down from the hour or more screen capture) to

    abacuscapalini@gmail.com

    ina n mp4 format.

    Abacus will be editing the 30 sec clips and using the music as performed by Woodsong Zapatero.  If anyone is interested is doing some of the editing contact Abacus.

    Be sure to include the following informaion with yoru clip

    • Names of avatars in the clip (Virtual world names)

    • Location of the grid and sim

    This information will be put in the credits.  If you used any sim besides your own be sure to get permission.

    We will be discussing the 1st week experience before we go into week 2 to work on the next machinima project.

    I based these on Gridjumper's version but made one version for SL and one for WoW by tweaking it.  Hope you enjoy!

    Yeah, I doubt if this can be topped for Second Life.  Maybe there should be a WoW version.
