Handling the massive amount of data that journalists can access is really important to find and fuel stories. I have started to learn programming for this reason, but in a general, university-related setting. Learning it with fellow journalists and tradings tips and ideas would be great.

As part of my job, I run data-driven journalism courses internationally for those looking to get into the field. I believe learning to program is a key skill for those looking to truly unravel the deepest stories. I am keen to get up to speed with some of the newest techniques in the field so that I can continue to teach others & help out the experts who we invite to the events with an extra pair of hands.
