What does it mean to learn deeply with Web 2.0 / Social Media in the context of my classroom and school?

We will build a vision of what is possible with social media. Using this vision you will modify, enhance or build a lesson plan/project (to be taught during Week 3) that takes your use of social media to the next level. You will also join working groups (2-4 people/group) and begin discussing the whole class project (Kit).

Objectives, you will:

• Learn more about your peers in this course.
• Articulate what it means to use social media to learn deeply within the context of your own classroom.
• Create a social media enhanced lesson plan (to be taught during Week 3).
• Meet your working group.

• Week 2 - Project Task <- Note: This is a social task. You will need to coordinate a time to meet with your group this week. You should email your team at the beginning of the week to set up a virtual meeting time.
