This is a two week production based course for creating a Machinima in virtual worlds and MMORPGs

Machinima is a portmanteu of machine and cinema. This two week course will cover basic Machinima creation, copyright and creative commons and will result in the learners participating in the production of a Machinima to be entered in the SIGVE EduMachinina Fest. Particpants also have opportunity to make their own Machinima to enter into ISTE SIGVE EduMachinima Fest.

SIGVE 2nd Annual Machinima Fest at ISTE Conference in San Diego and in Second Life

Following in the tradition of Sundance and Cannes, ISTE SIGVE is hosting EduMachinima Fest 2012 featuring examples of the BEST Machinima in the educational realm.

Machinima Fest 2012 will showcase videos created using 3D virtual worlds or games, and its potential for learning and communicating. Discover the possibilities of using Machinima in your classroom.

The best machinima will be featured at the SIGVE EduMachinima Fest 2012 in San Diego and in Second Life on Tuesday, June 26th from 530-730pm PST/SLT.
