Organizing, annotating and networking knowledge - for professional growth and youth learning.

How do you curate the huge volume of information that comprises our daily lives, particularly as it relates to professional knowledge? And how do we help youth do the same for the purpose of personal and academic growth? Join this three-week conversation to share your experiences as we consider curation as an opportunity to gather and annotate as well as publish and share as part of a knowledge-building network.

posted message: What about picking up Karens suggestion and having a hashtag for twitter for this course- maybe #curating, #curatinglives, or?? could help bring another dimension to our conversation?

I am for this.  Choosing a hashtag is a bit of an art.  #Curating is, oddly, not very busy at the moment, but #curation has a lot of activity.  Or we could choose something specific to us like #p2pucurate or its ilk.

    How about #digicurate?

It is also an empty hashtag.

Brilliant! BTW, did you see that Nicole's video mashup is featured on Vialogues?

Also BTW, I have started using the hashtag above.  Better to ask forgiveness than beg permission?
