Main Project Step 3 - Prototyping

A lot of you have already started doing this, but the next step for your project is:

Put together everything you've learned so far to make a prototype the player can interact with.

The prototype may still be missing key game mechanics, only have one "level" or screen, and only one player, but try to put in as many of the basic game elements as you know how to do.  Take what you know about input, drawing, and animation and combine them into a rough approximation of how you want your game to look and how you want it to control.

Obviously the details here depend so much on your individual game idea that I can't go into much more detail in the assignment.

If you're confused about how to move forward, leave a comment on this task and I or one of the other students can offer you suggestions.

This is a rough draft of the game, there is still a lot to do. So far what it has is the player and the aliens. The aliens have the basic movements, i'd like to add more animation. Barriers, lasers, and some effects are pending.
