I love to articulate my thoughts in writing and perhaps I even believe it may be useful to others. I find it pretty difficult to keep up the momentum of writing blogs - I've started one before and stopped within a couple of months. Got another up and at a bottleneck unsure where to take the direction. Perhaps there's insecurity about how the blog may be received and simply feeling pretty exposed being so open? Looking to hear experiences of other on the same boat.

Pippa and Alina were having a conversation about how hard it is to stay motivated in blog writing, something we all do for work. I joined in the whining, and the three of us gave some mutual support back and forth across Twitter. That was ten days ago...now that I'm back at the computer, I'm excited to see that there's a study group on P2PU! So, dual motivation and experience sharing is going to (hopefully) help me stay on top of my blog writing.

I have a blog that no one reads.
Perhaps this is because I never know what to write in it. Or perhaps it's disgusting.

I recently read that although many people blog, there are few places where you can actually learn to. Writing for the web is different. It interests me because I love hypertext and have a little something to say. It's such a new medium which is still evolving. Is there a secret sauce? I don't know, but I'd like to find out.
Participating here can help me build the muscles to blog, because blogging is a habit. I can learn from my peers, too. That's exciting. I have enthusiasm, some ideas and would like to share what I've got.

I hope to post to my blog more.

I would like to improve my writing. There are many things that I find fascinating out in the world and I want to be able to transmit/explain/present those things or ideas to other people via the web. I have three blogs and a huge list of things that I want to write about but I find it hard putting into words what I've experienced or thought.
I hope that through the study group I'll be able to regularly put some writing out and up, and through practise become more fluid in my writing.

Hello there!
What sparked my interest in this topic was the fact that I have tried to blog in the past, numerous times, and never really stuck with it or saw it go anywhere because I felt my writing wasn't personal enough or well put together.
I hope to be able to change that by participating in this study group. I will not just follow along, but give input and feedback, as well. I think that's a fair exchange for learning how to put my best food forward on the blogosphere.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this.
Regards,
Amanda
