This course covers the content of the January 7, 2012 California qualifying exam for secondary science teachers.

Many countries and all states in the United States qualify their teachers by requiring that they pass a subject-matter exam. The University of California, Irvine OpenCourseWare project has developed a preparation resource for the exam. We are now sharing this material with P2PU and providing a moderated study gruop. So, whether you need a Biology refresher or are studying for an actual exam, this may be the place for you. Explore the resource, post your questions, answer the problems and ask for help.

The University of California, Irvine Extension is pleased to be able to offer 3.0 (CEUs) Continuing Education Units and a transcripted record for successful completion of this study. The criteria for the awarding of this credit is based on successfully completing the final diagnostic questions at the end of each topic.
