I m a Computer Science Enthusiast, as well as a professional. In my personal belief WCS and HTML5 with JS will drive the next generation of web application, where geographical boundaries will be made obsolete in communication, and in some cases will be the key factor. Hence want to work with people to explore the possibilities.
I hope to achieve JavaScript knowledge, which i can use to implement and help others.
Yes, I believe in that, and by default will be doing that.

Having really mastered my skills in HTML and CSS learning Javascript feels like the natural next step and is a language I am extremely excited about mastering.
What do you hope to achieve by participating?
I have spent quite some time trying to learn Javascript through reading various text and feel I need some direction, I feel using this peer-2-peer will be help me to begin really understanding areas of the langauge that I have been getting rathered confused about. I want to become awesome at Javascript and I also want to pass whatever knowledge I have onto helping someone who needs help also.
Are you interested in helping with the study group organization?
100%! I have always been keen on sharing my knowledge and skills as best I can, it's not very fair taking and not giving.

Freelance web developer/designer based in London looking to fine tune their skills.
Location: London
Standard Set Answer:
The wide use of JQuery in modern web development has pushed me to further understand Javascript, as I do not simply want to use plugins that someone else has written. I want to be able to write my own and share them with the rest of the world.
I am quite busy so I would rather not participate in helping with the groups organisation but I would do so if I had to.

Location: Northeast US
Standard Set Answer:
Javascript has been called the "language of the Internet" and I haven't actually worked to learn the language, just editing a few things here and there and not keeping up with changes in Javascript over the years. I'm interested to finally take a closer look at the language.
I'd like to achieve competency in Javascript and include some JS in a Wordpress plugin.
I'd be willing to try and help with the study group organization.
