Anyone can follow a study group on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  I am in the process of transitioning from being an employee to being an employer and know that in order to do so effectively, i need to develop skills that allow me to create a strong online presence and protect my business at the same time.

  I am interested in learning more about web development. I run a not-for-profit society and would like to be able to securely develop both a website and apps for it. way back in 1993-1994 i completed first year computer sciences, but as i was a young mother at the time, i found it to be too time-consuming to pursue past the end of competion of the first year of studies in this field.

  I am looking around for Technovation Challenge teachers! My name is Jo, and I am a very different type of person. I have been told...nerdy, geeky, sometimes loud, and high energy. I work at LinkedIn as a Web Developer, and will be working with co-worker as the South Bay Regional Co-ordinator. I was Chair of the Society of Women Engineers in college, and I love seeing brilliant girls and women thrive in technology.

  Bio:

  Half the year I live in Shanghai China and the other half I live in Los Angeles, California. I travel back and forth with my wife and 7 year old daughter. Last year my wife and I completed our bachelor degrees at the University of Southern California, and are now trying to move on to the next phase of our lives. We have been trying to establish a business in Shanghai creating websites, but have been making slow progress. This is mostly due to our limited knowledge of programming languages and web development overall.
