Anyone can follow a study group on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  I read an artical on the web about an open source badge prodject and I thought it is one of the best Ideas I have ever heard. You can fake your way through a badge . I think that is the best thing ever.

  I hope to learn what I did not learn by going to school everyone has their own way of teaching and more to share than what is in a curiculum.

  Javascript is something that really interests me, also it seems like a very widely used language, therefore only increasing its value in my eyes.

  By participating I hope to learn at least a thing or two about the programming language, and I hope that along the way I can help somebody else out.

  I've just learned about HTML and CSS, and Javascript is definitely the next step for me, based on the path I'm taking. By participating in this course, I can gain a foothold in JS and futher my understanding of web development. I probably can't offer much to teach, but I'd be willing to help somehow.

  I used to programm assambler by the age of 14 on my C64. Now nearly 30 years later its time to take a second chance on JS ;-)

  I am trying to learn how to interface with MySQL databases through webpages.  There are some applications we use and all of the scripts need to be written in JS.  I would not like to be involved with any of the organization of study groups.
