Start a School at P2PU [July 26, 2011, 2:26 a.m.]

What is a P2PU school?

A school is a learning community that commits to be stewards of a content area. A school runs under the core values of openness, peer learning and community.

Schools are comprised of a core group of people committing to organize multiple courses within a given content area, often this group is from an established organization.  They identify core competencies in their content area and develop pathways to learning and recognition.

At P2PU we currently have 3 schools established under partnerships:

Starting a School with P2PU

Members of the P2PU community formed a working group to support current schools and help those interested in starting a new school. You can get in touch with the working group here: http://wiki.p2pu.org/p2pu-schools-working-group

P2PU has reserved funds for school microgrants to help schools develop and mature. Any organization that is interested in forming a new School or growing an existing School within P2PU is welcome to apply. Though not required, special consideration will be given to those who have demonstrated a strong commitment to the P2PU community, and who have already run successful courses on the P2PU platform.
