Anyone can follow a help desk on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  What made you interested in this topic?

  I became interested in this topic because I am curious about the concept and efficiency of an online P2P environment. I would like to know more about the topic and of how I could apply it someday by perhaps creating a study group with a few people that I know I have similar interests in.

  Bio:

  Here at the P2PU I run the course Getting your CC Project Funded, where I try to help people find funding for their project ideas. During the day I work as a teacher at the Göteborg University, and during most of my remaining free time I'm either renovating my house of working for the Society for Free Culture and Software. Most of my work there revolves in some way around Creative Commons.
  
  My pedagogical experience (I did actually study pedagogics!) and knowledge is mostly from problem and project based learning, which I hope to apply some of here at the P2PU, in a form and way that makes sense for peer to peer learning.

  I’m Pippa Buchanan, an Australian writer, gardener, cook and creator based in Linz, Austria.  I’m also a learner and learning activist.

  My focus is in discussing, experimenting and developing how we can take control of our education and learn in the future, especially using local and online community-driven action, web tools, and open technologies and processes.

  I'm currently studying a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching and Learning online with University of Southern Queensland. My professional and training background is in tertiary and lifelong education, web and games development and educational software.

  Primarily I work  developing the School of Webcraft. More generally I believe that we should be able to learn what we want and P2PU is a big step in making that a reality for people everywhere.

  Bio: i'm a medical librarian with a thing for ultimate frisbee and microbrews.  :)  One of the reasons I love medical librarianship over other forms of librarianship is the fact that it seems to be filled with cutting edge technology.  I am in no way a programmer, but I wish I was (I took comp sci 101 in undergrad, where we learned a language called Scheme...and back in the days of DOS I used to customize the code for little games that came in the back of 3-2-1 Contact Magazine, but that's all I got beyond some HTML playing).  I speak a little bit of Russian (my undergrad major along with math, but I speak no math at all these days).  I'm in the midwest right now, but I grew up in NY/PA and went to grad school in Seattle.
