Well – we finally wrapped up the MOOC! The DJ Carter Denja was magnificent!
Blue created the exact space we need for ending festivities!

So here are some ending notes:

    Wow! Again – wow!

P2P U invited us to come and talk about the course at their community call. We had the highest level of traffic for any course, challenge and study group at P2P U for the month of April. We visited areas in Second Life, Joykadiagrid and Inworldz. We produced a number of awesome Machinima videos in a week. Our course icon is the cover picture on the AERA's ARVEL SIG SuperNwes. We investigated World of Warcraft on both the Horde side and Alliance side. We went field tripping in WoW with people from the educators’ guild Cognitive Dissonance and 3D Games Lab. We had Lyr and Bev do their best to expand and blow our minds. Then we went into EVE Online and enjoyed it but found out that the aha moment was really screensharing with 9 other people in Google + while playing in EVE Online and WoW.

We do have 2 MOOC spin-offs that we are starting to develop - please sign up and lurkers always welcome!

    ARG Academy  http://p2pu.org/en/groups/arg-academy/ May 7 – 28

3 weeks to learn about ARGs and produce one to introduce in an unconference way at ISTE in June

    Machinima Online Open Course  http://bit.ly/MachinimaP2P June 4 – 18

2 weeks to learn about Machinima, crowd produce an “I Wanna Be a Machinima Star” video and figure out a plan to have this video go viral and to promote Machinima both at the ISTE conference and going forward.

Thank you everyone! And everyone needs to take a bow!

    Kae
