Anyone can follow a study group on P2PU. Participating is the next level of engagement. The sign-up is a space where interested individuals can express their interest and background in the topic and commit to working with the rest of the participants. Please answer the following set(s) of questions if you want to become a participant or organizer.

  Interested in this topic since I already support code in C# and VB where Javascript is utilized.  Even though I have a "just enough to get by" knowledge base; I would rather have thorough understanding and proficiency in this topic.

  I hope to achieve intimate knowledge of Javascript so that I can compose code structures with confidence and accuracy.

  Whether interested or not, I do not believe that I have time available to help with study group organization.

   I first became interested in this topic as I am considering going back to school for computer programming and felt that this would be a great introduction into a potential field of study. By going this route I can get a taste of what is involved with this, and if I am suited for this or not.

   My goals for participating are to immerse myself in the areas covered through this website and learn as much as I can about the topics offered. I feel it will give me a great introduction into something that I have had an interest in for quite some time, and would like to learn in an environment that is community based with lots of user input.

  I'm became interested in JavaScript as a result of being interested in programming - I began learning Ruby and Python, but the possibliities and the future of JavaScript is what gets me really excited.

   

  For a language that was built for the purpose of web interactivity, it has become so much more.

   

  I would like to achieve proficieny in all aspects of JS - I want to be able to learn about new frameworks without being completely confused.

  Genuine interest in computer and love for programming (not necessarily web programming). A deeper understanding of the javascript programming language and the skills to participate in web app development.
