Location: Gloucester City, NJ
Standard Set Answer:
I do a great deal of web designing that incorporates Javascript that has been written by others. Though I often times can adapt what's been written, I think it's time that I learn to write Javascript for myself.
I hope to achieve the ability to write my own, useful Javascript for some of the eCommerce sites that I'm currently building.
Since this is my first class and I'm fairly new to Javascript, I don't think I'm interested in leading a study group, though I would like to participate in one.

I have a moderate understanding of JavaScript programming, but I am completely self-taught. I would like to gain a better understanding of the pricples of JavaScript programming, in order to better my skills. I do not believe I currently have enough time to help with the organization of the study group, but would be interested in doing so if the time committment is negligible

Yes, I am interested in becoming an active member of the study group. And hope to interact and share my knowledge with my fellow members of the group.

I want to be able to work with websites and online course development using a standards based approach. I also am interested in being able to create sites with interactivity that doesn't rely on Flash.
I have tried to study at home on a number of occasions but find myself bored so I want to see the community aspect of online study - naturally there is a professional interest in the experience of learning too! If I can contribute in a useful way to how the course is run then of course I will.

Standard Set Answer:
I'm interested in learing more about javascript because what little I do know is self-taught. There are so many online resources for learning it, but I'd like to find something more coherent than me simply searching the internet for tutorials. In addition, I'm curious to try out P2PU.
While I'm here, I'll be working to become more confident working with javascript, wielding more complex web programming, and hopefully creating some exciting things (maybe that last one is for the future).
I'm always down with lending a hand where I can, and if I can help out with anything here, that would be cool.
